The annual 2018 Conference and Interim Meeting of the International Colour Association (AIC) was held 25-29 September 2018, in Lisbon, Portugal. The theme of the conference was Colour and Human Comfort, and the conference program was packed with excellent presentations including a keynote speech 'Colour from a gradualist perspective' by Professor José Luis Caivano (Universidad de Buenos Aires, and Conicet, Buenos Aires) and '50 Years of Colourful Reflections' by Professor Byron Mikellides (Oxford School of Architecture, Oxford Brookes University). Colour Collective Sydney was represented by Dr Zena O'Connor, who delivered two conference papers.
