The Colour Collective was a proud supporter of this award-winning colour intervention in Kesterton Park, North Sydney. Initiated by one of our founders, Zena O'Connor, project partners included North Sydney Council, Resene Paints and the Master Painters Association. The project, which won the Maestro Colour Award at the Resene Colour Awards, 2017, proved popular with the local community. The picnic huts, which had become run down and were in need of a make-over, reflected the colours of the playground in the park and also the colours and design elements that featured in the yacht spinnakers that sailed past this park on the edge of Sydney Harbour.
